The American Ukrainian artist YEV contacted us to make two music videos. The song Motherless Child deals with themes related to the war in Ukraine and the children who are orphaned and left behind due to this conflict. We wanted to convey the emotional cruelty associated with conflict and how the innocence of a child represents hope for the future. We went out to the forest and lit at dusk. The entire video is shot in slow motion which gives a dreamlike feel, blurring the lines between thoughts and reality.
